Root Camp -February 2023-

Immerse yourself in permaculture, community living, syntropic farming and natural building in paradise.

We are developing an intercultural project in the farm and we welcome you to start the foundations with us

February 13th – 22nd, 2023

At Diamante Luz Farm
San Salvador de Barú, Pérez Zeledón, San José, Costa Rica

What will we be doing?

Through concepts of natural building, we will build a Rancho in our farm applying indigenous ways of the Boruca people – native tribe from Costa Rica – the materials will be mostly bamboo and palm leaves.

We will also build a compost bathroom and a shower. Through this course there will be workshops on different topics such as:

– Permaculture
– Natural building
– Regenerative Community living
– Syntropic agriculture
– Recycling
– Reducing carbon footprint and environmental impact
– Grey Water Filters
– Non-Violent Communication workshop
– Optional yoga and massage
– Herbalism + medicine making
– Plant knowledge and identification
– Communal living and simple living
– Indigenous and colonial history of Costa Rica
– Authentic movement
– Personal energy sovereignty

The experience also includes:

– 2 Taco Tuesday nights and Cacao Ceremonies
– 2 Waterfall Tours

Accomodation options:

Tent on the land – $444 – $666 *

• Tent provided or bring your own.
• All meals and activities.
• Stay on the land for 9 days.

Jungle Private Dorm – $666 – $777 *

• Stay on one of our community spaces on private or shared room depending on availability for 9 days.

Fairy House Bamboo Platform – $888 *

• Stay on one of our community spaces on private or shared room depending on availability for 9 days.

* not included: transportation to arrive and airplaine ticket. But we can guide you in the process of arriving to The Diamante Valley and pick up in the bus station.

About us

The Diamante Bridge Collective (DBC) is a network of land stewards, individuals, organizations and communities located primarily within the Diamante Valley of Costa Rica, expanding to include those from the greater Southern Zone of Costa Rica, and those abroad.

Diamante Luz offers learning environments for ecological wellness and restoration so all ages can share knowledge and connect with the wisdom of this place.
