About Us

Who We Are

Diamante Bridge Collective (DBC) is an association of individual contributors and organizations, weaving an interdependent network of autonomous communities that cultivate a planetary paradise. We build foundational agreements and regenerative economies that help us better care for our bioregion, our neighbors and ourselves.

Rooted in the Barú river watershed, in Costa Rica’s Southern Zone, we work in close relationship with our neighbors, and with the culture and wisdom of this place. We see the Earth as a living system we belong to, and act as its guardians.

We connect as bridges, building relationships of respect between diverse people, communities, cultures and generations. We restore mutual trust as we transform our systems into something more just and resilient. We learn from the past to build a present where everyone’s needs are met, and the prosperity of the Earth endures for future generations.

Our Missions

We co-create collective agreements for self-governance, economic exchange, resource sharing and common-land stewardship.

We facilitate the just redistribution of resources and power to restore ecological wellness and social equity.

We inspire planetary transformation by embodying regenerative lifestyles.

We generate tools, skills and experiential-learning capacities for the flourishing of our personal, spiritual and environmental relationships.

Our Community

DBC extends beyond those who hold its formal structure: we are also an open circle of newcomers, visitors and allied projects who walk alongside us.

It all begins with the Community Covenant, a living agreement: we offer safe, transparent spaces; you bring presence, honesty and respect for this land.

You don’t need to govern or build DBC to belong. This open circle is, in itself, already a complete way of being community.

The DBC Association

DBC is also a non-profit association, registered in Costa Rica under Law 218: the Asociación Puente Diamante Colectiva. No resources are distributed as personal profit; everything serves the mission — land we steward, not own.

We govern ourselves by sociocracy: decisions by consent, autonomous circles, the Assembly as supreme authority.

Our Network

We are Diamante Bloom, the local node of the Bloom Network: a global peer-to-peer action network of close to 30,000 people across 22 chapters in 9 countries, with whom we weave teachings and tools.

And at home, we keep weaving alliances with neighbors and organizations who share this vision for the Barú watershed.
